Continuing Education for Drillers
The following courses apply toward licensure. Drillers’ licenses renew on a two-year cycle. Twelve (12) Continuing Education Credits (CECs) are required, two (2) of which must be Idaho Rules & Regs in the two-year cycle.
Online Courses
IGWA Online Courses are $75 for members and $150 for non-members.

- Idaho Rules & Regulations (1 credit)
- David Baker Business Management (1 credit)
- Fundamentals of Dual Tube Flooded Reverse Drilling (1 credit)
- Minimum Training Requirements for Vehicle Ops 2023 (1 credit)
- Protecting Underground Utilities (1 credit)
- Underground Digging (1 credit)
- DOT Updates (1 credit)
- Drilling Reactive Clays & Shale (1 credit)
- Cable Tool Drilling (1 credit)
- Cable Tool History (1 credit)
Oregon, Washington, and Utah Continuing Education Credits Available at select events.
