IGWA Crisis Fund
The IGWA Crisis Fund provides financial assistance to members of the IGWA affected by accident, illness, financial difficulty, and natural disaster. The program is voluntarily funded by members who participate in raffles, auctions or events scheduled by IGWA. The IGWA Crisis Fund can help fill a gap and lift burden for members, spouses, children, grandchildren, or other family members who have fallen on hard times.
Eligibility
A sponsoring IGWA member that is in good standing for a minimum of two consecutive years can apply. Members can submit an application that must include contact information and request a description. A completed application form can be submitted online, emailed, or hard copy sent to the IGWA.
All Crisis Fund requests will be reviewed by the board of directors and award given on case-by-case basis. The amount given will be determined by the need of the recipient and availability of resources. Approved awards are by check payable to the recipient, or recipients’ parent/guardians.
